Hybrid Storage for Speed & Capacity: The D8 Hybrid 2 supports 4 SATA HDDs/SSDs and 4 M.2 NVMe SSDs in one enclosure, delivering both high-speed active storage and massive-capacity archive storage. Supports up to 152TB total capacity for video editing, backups, media libraries, NAS expansion, and more

10Gbps High-Speed Bandwidth: Equipped with USB 3.2 Gen 2, the D8 Hybrid 2 delivers transfer speeds up to 10Gbps. Read speeds reach up to 1020 MB/s with a single NVMe SSD, enabling faster video editing, file transfers, backups, and multitasking workflows.

Automated Backup Solution: TERRAMASTER’s complimentary TPC Backupper simplifies Windows PC backups. Users can Schedule folder or disk partition backups to TERRAMASTER USB HDD storage or NAS servers effortlessly. Just connect, install, and set up your backup task. TPC Backupper supports both incremental and differential backup strategies and is compatible with Windows 8/8.1/10/11. Mac users can seamlessly leverage the built-in Time Machine feature for backup.

Efficient Heat Dissipation and Quieter Operation: The D8 Hybrid 2 direct attached storage has an intelligent temperature-controlled fan for optimal heat dissipation. Optimized internal structure increases air pressure, lowers drive temperatures, and minimizes vibration. Even under full load, the D8 Hybrid 2 stays quiet and comfortable.

Effortless Disk Replacement and M.2 SSD Installation: This drive enclosure simplifies the process of hard disk replacement with its tool-free tray, eliminating the need for additional tools. Featuring TERRAMASTER’s Push-Lock design, it ensures secure insertion, preventing disconnection or offline issues. For M.2 SSDs, its chassis is equipped with a convenient side sliding cover and hand-tightened screws, enabling quick SSD installation in just 5 seconds. It is also a super quiet HDD USB enclosure.

Note: Some mini PCs may have weaker USB signal output, which can cause random interruptions during file read/write operations during data transmission. When this occurs, it is recommended to 1) use the rear USB ports of the computer, as they typically provide a more stable signal; 2) test the device on another known-good computer to rule out hardware issues on the original PC; and 3) use a 10Gbps USB-A/USB-C hub or splitter with a short 0.3m–0.5m cable to reduce signal loss.
