This is a high-power charger, and a standard NEMA 5-15R outlet may not provide sufficient capacity. For safe and optimal performance, we recommend using a NEMA 5-20R outlet.

How long does it take to charge a 48V 100Ah lithium battery?

With 30A output charging current, it would take around 100/30=3.3 h to fully charge a 48V 100Ah LiFePO4 lithium battery.

Is it OK to charge LiFePO4 to 100%?

Yes, LiTime LiFePO4 batteries can be charged to 100% safely. However, for longer lifespan, it’s recommended to keep the SOC between 20% and 80% during regular use.

Can this charger work with lead-acid batteries?

No. This charger is designed only for LiFePO4 batteries. For charging Lead-Acid, LiFePO4, or NCM batteries, we recommend using our LiTime Multi-Bank Chargers, including 12V+24V 10A, 12V+36V 10A, 12V 10A 2-Bank, 12V 10A 3-Bank, and 12V 10A 4-Bank.

Is it bad to completely drain a LiFePO4 battery?

It’s not recommended to fully discharge LiFePO4 batteries. For better lifespan and performance, recharge before the level drops too low—ideally above 20%.
